Any one out thier own and shoot one just post your observations pleas.Such things as dependibility {jamming problems}accuracy and such,Thanks
Mine is actually the Hungarian model PA-63 which is a much closer copy of the Walther PP. But all the various Maks are essentially PP copies. I used mine when I did the original handloading data for the American Rifleman back in 1991. It ate 3,000 rounds of handloads (some too hot to print) for that article alone; and has gone to two handgun shooting schools, where it digested several thousand more. It sits in a holster in my truck right this second as my vehicle carry gun. In all that time, it has never failed to feed, fire or eject. 100% perfect. I also had two shooting instructors try to buy it because it's so slim, light and above all - accurate.
Sounds like I like 'em, huh?
I have a Bakail Russian ten rounder and it is a peach. It is not finished as nice as an East German model it looks good to me. I have put around 200 rounds thru mine. Mostly I shoot Barnaul hollowpoints. It has never jammed or failed to fire. I own more expensive weapons but for everyday carry and vehicle security, mine stays close at hand.
The commercial Bulgarian models are usually available at gun shows for about $150. and include a holster and extra magazine.
It is an accurate, well made pistol.
