driving through the farmlands of Michigan I ran across a fine old rifle, what do you all think. It was a 1903 Mannlicher- Shoenaur in the classic 6.5x54. Wood was in good condition, but nothing spectacular. Bore was good, dark but no pitting, finish about 70%. Action was as smooth as butter, and trrgger was crisp and no creep. Npow the down side: drilled and tapped with a high Williams side mount and an old Weaver scope. The scope was too high and too far foward to use. The price was $500.00,so what do you all think?
