Hopefully we will get word of their migration in the next two weeks. Any reports from WI, IL, KY?

Spent the better part of last Sat. on the Mississippi working on the blind and never saw a duck. lots of geese but no ducks of any kind. Not unusual for our area tho, once the teal start comming their like the energizer bunny, they keep going and going and going.

I also scouted for teal last weekend. Not like I thought I might see some. And as I expected not a teal to be seen here in Southern Illinois.

I haven't scouted any yet, and from other reports i've got, not many people are seeing very many. I'm gonna try to scout Friday and go from there. Headshot, where ya from? I'm from Southern IL also.
Here in PA we dont get a september teal season the teal here are safe until the 6 of oct. but yesterday we were out fancy-ing up two blinds in a local dam and the saw two BW and one hell of alot of GW, well more than last year for sure. So maybe this helps.

Saw four GW's on the beaver pond out back on Saturday along with a pair of woodies and two great blue herons. A house has gone in across the pond and we will probably get the openner before a fine early season spot falls victim to intrusion. (New Hampshire)

I just bought a jon boat from up there a couple of weeks ago. I what to use it at the scatters, on the cache and maybe Mermet Lake. Do you hunt Oakwood or Kinkaid Lake?

The Mighty blue wings hit northern Wisconsin on 9-5-01 so they're on their way! The problem is I'm headed for Ontario tommorow for their opening on 9-10-01, I missed em again. We get a good teal shoot in Ontario 1 out of 10 years. There should be lots for you in the balmy south!
