My 14 year old nephew recently had 4 inches below his left elbow amputated due to an accident with a chum grinding machine. He is very exciting about being able to hunt with a cross bow now. Is there any advice you guys could give me to help him out? Tips for using a crossbow? I want to be as much help as I can to him, and this is all new to me.
Thanks!
Jamie

The best advice I can give is to get a quality crossbow to start with. They are cheap ones but you get what you pay for. Probably a 5 wire scope and a cranking device. I find the mechanical broad heads shoots best in a crossbow.

Hey, Jamie...
I agree whole-heartedly with Don's reply. One of the most helpful items would be the cranking device. I can't think of any further suggestions, but I'd be willing to be "on call" for any other questions. Feel free to e-mail me anytime. Tell your nephew "Good Luck"!
