60gr Nosler Partition in the 223 Rem

I tryed the Partition last year on turkeys here in Va, I thought it was a god sent turkey load, with 25 gr of AA 2520 the Partition was more destrctive than the 55gr Ballistic Tip. I try for a head shot or just in frount of the legs. I have tryed the fmj but couldn't keep them down. Ya, I hunt turkeys with rifle I can zeor a rifle better than try to pattern a shot gun. Ted Va

I shoot 55gr. in my 223, they seem to group better than the 60's, but not on turkeys, that ain't legal here. I find that 20 grains of IMR 4895 does well.

I have just started working up a load for my 223 with partitions. Varget has done the best for me so far. The 3 shot group wasn't as tight as I would have liked. The second 2 shots were about 3/4" right of the first but they cut holes. I think the first shot was me or it being the first shot through a cold barrel.
