<font face="georgia,arial">Huntchat.com is having a contest for the Month of April 2006. The contest is simple; Reply to this post and guess the "NET" B&C score of the buck. The member closest to the actual Net score wins the prize! The prize is provided by Badlands Packs and is the Badlands 2200 pack. The specifications of this pack can be viewed at
http://www.badlandspacks.com
The contest will end April 30th at Midnight. The time of your post will be logged by the board. Only Huntchat members may compete. If you're a guest, sign-up...it's FREE!
Only 1 entry per member, so make your best guess count the first time. If you post more than 1 guess, only the first will count and all others will be discarded. Save me some time in sorting out multiple posts and only post once please. Only 1 score may be guessed, so if someone else already guessed the same score prior to your post, they get the credit. Check out everyone else's guesses prior to posting. There can be only 1 winner. In the event of a tie (the difference between your guess and the actual score is the same) then the person who posted first wins. Sorry, but I have to have a tie-breaker and that's the easiest way. By replying to this thread you are agreeing to the rules of this contest.
Be sure to check out the Sponsor that is making this contest happen.

For immediate release:
The Badlands 2200
Once again Badlands has left the competition in the dust. After a full year of R&D and customer feedback, the Badlands 2200 has been overhauled to take the ultimate hunting pack to new levels of performance.
At the core of this new design is the revolutionary "batwing" layout. The batwings increase load control by adding additional compression, while the zippered openings at the top allow the user to carry longer objects, such as a tripod or spotting scope. Gear pockets flank the exterior of the batwing, giving the user access to an array of tools. The thermo-molded memory foam waist belt has been enhanced with our new split belt design, giving it the most ergonomic fit possible.
The back panel has been complemented by deep channels for increased airflow across the back and a larger opening into the interior of the pack through the back panel access. All webbing, buckles, and zippers have been color coded to match the camouflage pattern, making the 2200 the stealthiest pack available. To make the already quiet glove grabber zipper pulls completely silent, all zippers will be housed in "garages", isolating any un-natural movement. Another Badlands innovation, the "toothless zipper" inverts the zipper, protecting the teeth from pre-mature wear from ice and dirt, while reducing un-natural movement and subsequent noise.
An aircraft quality aluminum frame system, along with the 2200's low center of gravity, allows the user to comfortably carry anything the hunters legs will handle. And as always, Badlands backs it all up with the industry's only completely Unconditional Lifetime Warranty. The new 2200 is sure to be at the top of every hunters wish list.

Well this contest is over! Thanks to everyone who guessed. We had some real close guesses and came up with a tie! Only 1/8" of difference under and over between two members but only 1 can win. As stated in the rules, the tie breaker is who ever posted first.
The winner is HuntrofDogs with a guess of 134 5/8"
The second place (if there was one) is Irelander with a guess of 134 3/8"
Terrific guessing and we had many well within a inch or two.
Here is the offical B&C score of this buck.
The net score is: 134 4/8
The gross score is: 140 7/8
