180 Lb 9 Point, Another One Bites The Dust!!

Killed this dandy yesterday evening with the ol Parker, shot him facing almost dead away from me but the arrow hit him right on the money and drove in all the way to the brisket, the deer went just over 35 yards and piled up. First one of the season boy we are startin it out right!!! The moon is right boys hope you all are in the woods cause the big boys are on the prowl.

Nice buck! Our season opens saturday. How old was he?

hey gd, I haven't even looked in his mouth yet to see what the tooth wear shows but based on his body size, mass on the rack and his forhead being so caved in looking my first guess would be 4 1/2 years old but that could go a year in either direction I'd say. The picture doesn't do the rack any justice its got a lot more mass than it looks like in these pics and I hope to get some better pictures in the field soon, its tall and the G2's and 3's are around 9" long.
