35mm and flash cameras

Who said the flash will scare away big game? Here's a few pictures from 2006 of a PA giant, taken with a 35mm flash camera. He keeps coming back.

and another. Just proof that flash doesn't scare them away! I set my 35mm to take 2 consecutive pictures in a row. I normally get a reaction from the first consisting of a side shot, then a spread shot when they look to see what that light was. I guess I use the flash as a tool myself. Sometimes I get a reaction, a lot of times they just keep doing what they are doing. How do you set yours?

It takes some nice pictures of little deer, but how does it do on a big buck? :D I hope the next picture of that deers head is when it`s hanging on your wall.

I've noticed the animals here get spooked by the flash a coule times but don't mind the next day they come past the camera. I suppose they figure that bright light is onl;y there for a split second and then it's gone, no smell of danger,no loud shot report and doesn't hurt so it's a non threat, business as usual

Don't have to worry about the flash in Oregon. We're not allowed to hunt after dark.

I think the flash is from a game camera on a trail at night, but I could be wrong.
