Recently got hold of a pretty nice Jap type 26 revolver. I havent shot one of these in 30 years, so made up some brass and loaded HBWC. The bores are a bit large, but the HBWC bullets shot under 3" at 15 yards
Wierd gun! Internals look like a Webley. Has a long, moderately heavy, but smooth DA only trigger pull.
Think I'll have to shoot this with my Arisaka Carbine in the next Wild Bunch match.

Old Scout,

BANZAI!

Good find. Yes, this pistol will go nicely with your Arisaka carbine. Which carbine do you have? I recently got a mint 44th Year (M1911) Carbine 6.5mm that shoots so well with Norma factory ammo, I will use it to hunt PA deer this year.

I have two type 38 Carbines. The one I'm working with has been re-barreled to 7.62NATO. The barrel is the same contour as the original, and has no markings on it.
I'm told there were a number of Arisakas so converted to arm the Korean army when that nastyness started.
When I got to Korea, the ROK's had Carbines and Thompsons!
