I am currently looking for
a dowel sizing plate
a brace and bit
a wood threader set (for creating wood nuts and bolts etc)
and other hand powered woodworking tools. Some of these can be purchased in modern versions for outrageous prices (Sorry I am not paying $58 to $119 for a steel plate with holes drilled in it by a machine in china)
Basically I am going back into old faishioned woodworking (along with my other hobbies) and some of my tools have dissapeared over the years (Or been destroyed).
If anybody has these (or others) laying around or knows where I can get them used (or made) for a modest price I would be VERY willing to discuss price. I still need to make new handles for my draw knife that belonged to my great great grandfather, and I need to build myself a shaving horse for making my own tool handles, and I need to build myself a new toolbox, and a new joining mallet, and a few minor odds and ends. . . . but thats half the fun.
