Lyman 1200 DPS 3

Does any one own one and if so what do you think about it? I am looking for a scale for all my reloading both shot shell and handgun / rifle. If not the Lyman then what do you recommend. Thanks

I had one..past tense. I use a RCBS now. But there is an alternative. One that seems to have a few extras that may enhance the use. It's called a Smartreloader scale I think. 180 bucks plus shipping..100 bucks less than RCBS 50-60 less than the Lyman. Then there is the Pact scale ad dispenser combo. Need a scale with the infrared like the RCBS which used to be made by Pact. Now RCBS comes from China. If it were me now I would buy the Pact combo made here in the Good Ole US of A with a lifetime warranty for 230 bucks plus shipping I'll bet. In fact I have one each of the Pact and Pact made RCBS dispensers. But do not have an infrared scale to go with them..Yard sale finds ya know..one at a gun show. Had to pay 10 bucks or so for it..They said it didn't come on..sheesh..worked fine from the first go round

Got the RCBS 1500 scale and dispenser, I looked at the Pact also and read the reviews and the RCBS came out on top so I will see how it goes. Didnt know that they were made in China now I guess I could have waited another day and waited for some one to reply but I am hoping it will work out for the best.
I am not sure if the posts mean you are getting old or you just have a lot of wisdom to pass on to others.
