Nuke'em till they glow, then shoot'em in the dark.....
My brother Mike was a 462, from 1967-68 he was at U Tapao, Thailand, from 69-71 or so he was at Nakon Phanom, Thailand. My first duty assignement was at Cheyenne, this tough looking Master Sergeant walked up to me and asked if Mike Crihfield was my brother, when I said Yes, he let me know that he didn't like my brother and he won't like me. Apparently he was my brother's crew chief at Blytheville, AR and they didn't get along. BTW, I never got along with the guy either. Hey, I worked with the Navy ordies at San Diego for about a month, great bunch of guys, drank like fish and went ugly early. |
So, is it still ok to talk about GP 100's on this thread? :)
|
YES HAWKEYE THAT IS PERMISSIBLE. ALTHOUGH PERSONALLY I PREFER SECURITY SIXES. I HAVE THREE OF THEM.
WASN'T THE ORIGINAL START OF THE THREAD CONCEALED CARRY? |
So.....
GP-100, 4" barrel. Gee Tater, I hope youre a big guy. I have a DeSantis OBW leather holster, made for normal belts. It works if I have a jacket on. Im not a big guy, BTW. Man, thats one HEAVY pistol! But its a outstanding pistol. I carry mine when working armed security. I use a duty belt. Nothing says BACK OFF!! like a big stainless wheelgun ;). The dumb BGs dont know that Im only alowed to use lead bullet .38s. |
I can carry mine IWB in the small of my back and cover it with a light jacket or a shirt. I prefer to carry on IWB on my side but I gotta drop a little winter insulation first.

Yup, thats how I do it. But I need more than a shirt or light gacket. If only I could borrow some of your "winter insulation", we would both be all set. |
