picked the 32-40 up yesterday.serial number makes it manufactured in 1904.bore is bright and there is still bluing on the muzzle.It is missing the rear sight ramp buts that nothing.

is that a vernier/tang sight on the rear of the reciever?

well it turns out the "N" on the .300 Sav is a proof mark and that it's a model EG.
I was told that the model designation would be there,but they don't stamp a model designation on 99's.... live and learn. as for the 1899B in 32-40... just gotta build some loads :D |
