My 06 Shed Season
 

Went out this morning and found this 3pt shed.

we have been getting dumped on here the past few day and it has been hampering our efforts. probably wont get out again till the end of the month but the killer will. and he'll probably find a pile.

I see there finally dropping there.congrats on the first,that always seems to be the hardest to find!

the ghoststalker is getting a little flustered with me.we have been walking the same areas,and im finding them and he isnt,boo hoo lol Dont worry bud ill leave you a couple. MAYBE

every body is finding but me
 

that was a small one, so the bigger ones shoude be droping. i have been out every day for the past two weeks and not a freash drop yet. all the deer and elk i've seen all had there antlers on. went out today and found a 6-point wt from last year. well good luck.:cool:

Thanks guys yeah the first is always the hardest.Were suppose to get a little snow this week.

I'm glad some of you are already finding sheds. The bucks here usually start around this time and don't end till the mid to end of March. So I usually don't start looking till mid March. I have hopes to find as many as I have years past. I hope you all have great finds this year.

Thanks yeah we had snow for 2 days now it's gone and raining again.

Man they are sure shedding quick up there huh?

Down here in Texas they don't start dropping until next month.

Most of the bucks are still carrying their antlers yet.I find most of mine in Feb &Mar.Good luck this season.

up here in the south east of b.c our mule deer are dropping about 5 weeks early.i found my first ones dropping on new years day,and am up to 25 fresh ones already.last year i found 3 in january.and this year we have had alot more snow than last.

congrats on a couple more.amazing how they blend in with the leaves.its been snowing here all day,so ill have to wait for it to melt again.is there moose down there in your neck of the woods?

Thanks no all we have is the WT around here.Man I wish we had elk and moose.There is about 200 moose on the other side of the state.

It will be a year in march.I just found out about these sites last year.

What a way to end February I found my best set of 6pt sheds this morning.It was still a little dark when I found them.

I had seen both of these bucks in January.Also after I found these sheds I seen another shed hunter looking in the same area.

I found 2 more yesterday.The first one was on the edge of a small set of pines.
