Yes, welcome to HuntChat.
What will you be hunting with your new rifle? muledeer |
Correct me if Im wrong, but thats based off the .308 Winchester, correct? Or am I losing it :p

The .35 Remington was introduced around (I'm doing this from memory) 1910 or something like that. It predates the .308 by quite a bit.
Lots of people think it deserves more respect than the .30-30 which is much more of a "contemporary" of the .35. Very similar trajectory, but the .35 shoots heavier and, obviously, fatter bullets. It is very likely that .35 remington's rifle is a lever action. |
yea its a lever action. It does shoot a heavier round...I want to hunt with it whitetails or mulies.

Hello 35 remington,
Congratulations on your rifle, it's probably a good one and should make a good brush bucker. The caliber has been around for many years, and it still has a rather sizable following. Best wishes. Cal - Montreal |
Congrats on the .35. It's one of my favorite rounds. If you get to reloading, you can load .357 pistol bullets for some cheap, fun plinking ammo.
