Its only a bottle opener

I don’t know where to post this new toy I got? In C.C.W., Gear&Gagets, or here? I finally decided on here because it was made by a knifemakers named Bary Jones, and Paul Gomez.

As most everyone is aware of "brass Knuckles", and "Knuckledusters" can get you in allot of trouble if found on your possession. That’s why I have a "BOTTLE OPENER";)

I HOPE YOU DON'T PLAN ON USING THAT "BOTTLE OPENER". IF YOU DO YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE ONE OF THE SEVEREST CASES OF CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME EVER RECORDED IN MEDICAL HISTORY.

How so?

It works on the same principle as brass knuckles. Except that it only one ring, not four rings. The opposite end has almost as much surface on the palm as Brass knuckles.

When I tested it on a 2x4 board it did more damage to the board than a naked knuckle would ever do. I would assume it does allot less damage to my wrist and or palm, than a naked knuckle would receive.
Although I didn’t hit it with everything I had.

If caught using them here in CA it's about a 5 year stint in the joint from what I'm told. Brass knuckles carry about the same severity as say a butterfly knife which is odd since they classify that as an automatic weapon.

True, thats why you tell the LEO its a bottle opener, not knuckles. Its not a wepon untill it is intended, or used as one.

very cool piece. can it be used to open bottles? that would be a good feature, because if the gaps is obviously too small or large it would make it obvious that it was not an opener.

Ummm....yeah. It is a bottle opener after all. That is what its primary function is. A screwdriver isn't a ice pick, scissors is not a push-dagger. Besides knuckles are o.k. in Florida, if you have a c.c.w. permit.

P.S. Mine is a prototype. I don't know when, or if this tool will ever be on the market.

Actually, it was made in a collaboration with shivworks ( http://www.shivworks.com/toppopper.asp) and Barry.
I know of atleast 250 that have been made.

Sean

P.S. The Jones Bro's make some very neat stuff

weapon

you are wrong in saying is it not a weapon until used in that manner. anything that can be used as a weapon can be called a weapon.just because you call it a bottle opener means nothing
