Found my first shed
 

Its a 4 point. About 15 inches from longest point to base. A real nice one.
I've found antlers before but never when purposely looking for them.
This one was laying about 4 feet down in a creek bed.
There is a lot more hunting to do on the other side of the creek.
My wife was hunting with me and thought it was pretty cool that we actually found one.
I wouldn't have even thought of hunting sheds if it weren't for this forum on HC.

good show. get out there and find more or at least have a good time like it sounds like your having.
as long as your out there it's a good time in my book.
hey, you could always stay home and gain weight and get old without enjoying the outdoors....lol.

Good for you. hope you find some more. then you will get hooked and become an avid shed hunter,its lots of fun .i spend lots of time out there with my 10 year old son,its great. good luck and happy hunting.
