Places to Shoot
 

I am looking for a place that my 11 year old can practice with a shotgun. I don't want to take him shooting trap just yet until I build his confidence and familiarity with the gun. Any suggestions on places in or outside the Portland area?

Any help folks?

Maybe a National Forest or some other type of public land that allows shooting/hunting?
