Ccu
Anybody ever used the Carbine Conversion Unit for a 1911? How well does it work etc?

Goodolboy, buddy got one last year for his glock, it`s not bad, i worked up a load for it, and got 2 inch groups at 50 yards. But i only had a day, it more than likely will do better. I`am going to have one as soon as i can get the funds together.

Thanks HPBTMTCH. I have been drooling on them for years. Wilson currently has theirs on for $230. . . . Of course I would still have to order the iron sight rail from mechtech. . . .

$230? goodolboy, where did you say this was? The best i found is a 40 cal. on gunbroker.com for $245, but i wanted a .45, they are $269-289.

Thanks goodolboy, got a ccu from wilson yesterday. The thing shot groups under 2 in. at 50 with the few factory loads i had, and 3 in. with cheap ball ammo. Very little recoil, less than the 10mm. I be happy. That was the best price i found, again, thanks.

Glad it worked out well for you buddy.
Now if I can just save up some cashola myself. . . . . *grin* GoodOlBoy |
