10mm necked down to .357?
ok we all know that the .357sig is the 40S&W necked down to .357/.38
i am just wondering if anyone knows if any wildcatting was done in which the 10mm was necked down in a similar manner? |
ABOUT AS CLOSE AS YOU ARE GOING TO GET TO THAT ONE IS THE 9X25 DILLON. THERE WAS ALSO A 357X44 AUTO MAG. BUT THATS ON A 44 CASE. AND THERE IS ALSO THE 357X45ACP.
I'M PULLING MOST OF THIS OUT OF MY MEMORY BANK BECAUSE I HAVE 2 OF MY MANUALS LOANED OUT. IF YOU NEED MORE INFO MY BOOKS WILL BE BACK BY WEDNESDAY. IF THEY AREN'T I'LL START CHARGING LATE FEES. LATE FEE: 45 ACP IN THE BACKSIDE. |
Thanks billy, was just curious

Billy,
Your memory is pertty good, just a minor correction, the 357/44 is a revolver cartridge. The non collared edition is the Bain & Davis, the collored version I can not recall the name of right now. The 357/44 Auto mag is really just the 357 Auto Mag and is, like the 44, based on a 308 Case. Mike Dillon just adopted :D the old 357/10mm and named it after himself. Ed |
