do rangefinders fog up?

I'm in the market for a rangefinder and a guy at a local store is telling me that some of the less expensive models (i.e. the lower end Bushnells) will fog up in damp weather. Is this true?-or is he trying to sell me a more expensive rangefinder?

id imagine with anything in the lower end that it could fog up, due to not being sealed as well as the upper end models or lens coating too maybe.??

but i have no exsperince with range finders to tell you for sure or not.

fogging

they will all fog up. finding a anti-fog that actually works is tuff.i found one last year that actually works.it is called fog tech.it is a moist patch that you just rub over the lens.one swipe will last for hours and sometimes days
