Hunting in Alberta
 

Howdy folks! This is my first post on this board.
I have 2 buddies that I hunt with in area along the Red Deer river valley. Between the 3 of us we can take 9 mulies does, 2 mulie bucks, 3 whitetail bucks and 2 whitetail does.
This is due to fewer hunters and growing deer populations. There are fewer hunters because of more bull#@*& involved to get a hunting rifle than to get a mortgage. Gun control in Canada works just fine if you are a government pencil pusher or on the other end.. a criminal. Meaningless to both!

Nice to hear of the abundance of game you can harvest
My son is in MEdicine hat and hopefully I will be able to go out and get a few of those nice alberta whitetailsas well

I live in Lethbridge and understand your point of view :D:D

As for me I have 1WT Buck, 2 WT Does, 1 MD Buck, 2 or 3 MD Does, and a Cow Moose tag to try to fill, and I will be "donating" some meat to some friends(but not none of the moose meat LOL) I will be trying to harvest all with my muzzleloader or the .303 brit w/200gr lead bullets, or 174gr RN's. BTW, it's up in/around the Lloydminster area where my tags are good for.
