Federal CastCore
 

While looking up some hunting rounds I see Federal has a bullet they call a CastCore as most of you know. I can't find any info on this on Fedral's site. Anyone know the low-down on this bullet?

I believe that this bullet was designed to be a big heavyweight pullet that would smash its way through bone and heavy muscle without being torn apart, and for very deep penetration.

just picked up a couple boxes. that's some hard lead! will these things lead my barrel real bad?
