scratched gun

I was putting on a scope and the screwdriver sliped  is there any thing i can do to fix this , could use the info.

It depends

It is possible to use cold blue to touch up minor scratches. I prefer G96 brand gun blue. They have a website at www.g96.com. Just follow the instructions. Hope this helps. All the best...

Best cold bleu I've found is Brownells Oxpho Blue Cream.

Scratched blue

hnter, Not many people know about the magic marker trick..works good on alloy frames of shotguns too. after applying it use a little paste wax to keep it on for a longer time. Oxpho blue cream is great and does a real good job on bluing. so does the liquid.

Hey Pete, came through Douglas the other day. No time to stop though. Be back soon.
