Does anyone out here have any FIRST HAND KNowledge of the 257 J.D.J. cartridge and it's loads?

Thanks for the reply.
WHat barrel length do you have?
What powder seems to be the favorite for the cartridge?

I have an SSK 12.75" barrel, I got the best accuracy (although its a bit slow for this case) from IMR 4350, this was with 120 gr bullets. If I can find it I have the original sheet from ssk that gives all the data from Jim Jones himself so if I can find it would you want me to send it to ya?

Ridgerunner, Thanks for the help. Mine is a 20" SSK Bbl and I have been a 4350 fan for years so I'll just see what it will do for me. I do all of my load development right on the range so I will now be sure to include 4350 in my "range loading kit".
Thanks again...Jim
