36 Caliber Muzzeloader
 
anyone know of a mfg that makes a 36 caliber muzzelloader inline that uses a 209 primer . in ct its the only caliber muzzleloader we can u se on state land for small game and varmits .outside of a 22 longrifle ... also anyone have any luck with the 36 .... can only use roundball too geeeeeeez

I gather you're not a traditional fan? Believe that's the route you'll have to go though.

Soak,

"White" made some beautifule ones. They are of the PA long rifle variety and are as old as PA is or maybe older. Flint locks. Shot many a shot through one. A collector lived in the same town.

I Green mountain makes a beutiful little in line 32 cal muzzleloader might be worth checking out. I think they only make so many a year though.

You're probably stuck to a traditional sidelock ML--probably a trusty Kentucky rifle? It's only 36 cal so inline or traditional it's not a big difference.

I had a friend that took a nice deer with a .36 cal. T/C. In Ohio .38 cal. is the smallest you can use, but they check bore size with a round from a .38 os a .357 and it will slide into a .38 cal. rifle very nicely.
