Christmas Day Shed (pics)
Hey all,
Here is a buck I was watching on Christmas day: http://www.hunttalk.com/forums/galle...6/P1030426.JPG After watching for a few mins I actually saw him shed! It was an awesome experience. Here is a pic of the shed as I found it: http://www.hunttalk.com/forums/galle...6/P1030425.JPG the base: http://www.hunttalk.com/forums/galle...6/P1030424.JPG EL |
That must have been thrilling, good job hunter.
But from what I read mullies don't shed until Feb- March. With moose being first. Whitetail next followed by Mullies. Does anyone have some facts on what spieces would most likely be dropping first cause I know where a little bit of everything hangs out and I'd like to not waste a bunch of time, wasting time. Get it. kKiller I'm from Sk. and I know where some Elk can be found within a couple hours of my place... In your oppinion what would be the earliest a guy should go and put on some mileage looking for an Elk shed or two. I've spent less than 5 hrs in prime Elk habitat, hopefully I can get a few more in this year. Thanks |
Hey Sorry for trying to steal your thread, hunter.
