Crow Call home style
 

Thought you might get a kick out of this:

Went on line to Google, put in crow call, got several hits on crow wav files. Played the files, right clicked on them and saved them as they were playing. Got about a dozen, then set up a Nero burn program with the calls and repeated calls, no space between and burned a little audio CD.

How does it work, we were under a stand of big oak trees, stuck the new CD in the truck's CD player, rolled down the windows, turned up the volume, hit repeat and in 5 minutes had 6 crows on the ground. Not a bad lunch break. :D

I wont tell you that the best wav files came off of a crow hugger site.... that would be just way to mean....:o

Great story and great idea.

Would it be possible to get a copy of that CD from you? I try to kill as many crows as possible during the year and I am getting sick and tired of the tapes and the caller I have. It would be really nice to get something new and to be able to play it off of the truck CD player.

Is Tampa anywhere near you because I will be there the first week of February. If not, I'll gladly pay for postage.

If you have a Nero CD burn program I can send you the CD files, 3 of them, by email and you can just burn a CD from each of the files.

I think one file is 3k, other 10k, the other 12k so they would go by email pretty easy.
