bugle september rifle hunt
I am considering using the hornady interlock 180 grain bullets that i used in Alberta on a similiar hunt for elk in Idaho this Sept., or would I be better off with a nosler partition or something like it because there mat be longer distances involved. Alberta was heavy cover and close range shooting.

A September bugle hunt in Idaho could also present you with some close range shooting at tough angles. If your rifle likes the Hornady's I wouldn't change. Take the ammo that you would have shot sighting in a new round and practice with your Hornady's.

Ditto to what M.T. said. Good luck, grayghost

The interlocks have my vote. I took them to Africa and shot six animals from 25 yards (warthog) to well over 300 (kudu). All droped except the hog which ran about 35 yards and died. I shot 162gr. in my 7mm.
