since youre required to have a licence when youre above 15, but iam 12 does this mean i can legaly trap without a licence,or does my dad have to get one,but he doesnt trap,so iam kinda confused

It may be different state to state. You really need to check your local regulations.

Need to check your regs here anyone of any age is required to possess a valid trapping liscense. But you can big game hunt without a hunting liscense. Go figure.

i did ,all it says is that if youre 16 and older you have to get a licence
