rests
Its winter and I'm messing around with my new/old bow, getting ready for next season. I have a Jenning Buckmaster thats probably 4 or 5 years old. I'm looking to change the rest to semething that I can draw back without the arrow falling off the rest.
I am looking for some first hand info on the Wisker Biscut. My understanding is that they are good except can be hard on fletching. Plus they look a little ugly. Second I like one made my QAP or QAD called the Ultra. Its a dropaway but has a bar that hold the arrow on the rest when you draw. Like the theory and am interested if it works as advertised. Let me know your thought, good or bad. |
I would highly recommend the Trophy Ridge - Dropzone.
I have had mine for three seasons and really like it. |
On the WB you can trim the whiskers a bit so they are not so hard on the fletching. Also, combine this with the shorter Blazer vanes and you should have no problems.

I use a Whisker Bisciut on my bow and I love it. the arrows don't faal off the rest (this is your concern I believe), I don't have to hold the arrow any more while stalking throught the brush. It shoots very well for me. All in all I wish I had put one on my bow sooner.

Ended up with a QAD Ultra Hunter. Seems it will work fine for me. Have it installed and assumed working correctly. Will try it out sometime next week.
