Kawasaki 610 Mule 4x4

I just bought a 2007 Mule 610 4x4 and it seems very weak on power. It will go up the hills and hollows of Tennessee but I'm a little nervous to take it out west and elk hunt since it seems way under powered. Any suggestions?

Take it back and trade it for a Yamaha Rhino 660
