why dont the press talk about this

20 year old lance corporal posthumously awarded navy cross. Lcpl Christopher Adlesperger. During one of the largest and most intense battles in Iraq. During a 30 minute heavy burst of enemy gunfire killed Adlesperger best friend LCpl hodges and brought down two other Marines. With most of his platoon pinned Adlesperger cleared stairs and a rooftop to move the wounded to a rooftop so they could gett medical attention he exposed himself to enemy fire by setting up a series of fire postions although wounded he took point for his platoon on a final assault on a enemy machine gun postion he charged into a courtyard and engaged the enemy at close range. He received a meritorious promotion to LCpl this was on nov 10 2004 on dec 9th he was killed in action will leading his fire team. This story just came out in the marine corps magazine. Makes me realize that while i was in the marines .I have stood beside some of the greatist young men that this country has to offer and the brave young warriors still keep coming. As long as there is a Marine alive the USA will survive

Politically correct

What Dan meant to say was that reporting something good about our troops and their feats does not advance the thinking that the liberal media wants us to hear. Every thing that the US and its troops do is wrong....according to the biased left thinking media. At least, in the thinking of the left wing people in this country, it seems they applaud the fact that we have our sons and daughters being killed. They use that fact to advance their propaganda:rolleyes: SHEEPLE!!

Thank's Skeet......that was what I was driving at!
