Weekend Squirrel Report 10/13/07
Dead is the word. Yet again we had a large problem with buzzards, mexican eagles, crows, and hawks flying over all weekend. All in all a pretty dead weekend. If it doesn't pick up soon I may have to help said birds relocate.

It's pretty bad when ya can't even bag up an ol skwerl. Heck I could probably get one or two where I live ...and this is Wyoming. You know..hardly any trees. Actually I have quite a few trees around the house etc and there are at least 2 skwerls here. I see some in the town of Powell but was really surprised to see some sign that the skwerls were digging around the house as skwerls do. Then a few days later I saw the skinny little buggers. Gotta get me some corn to bait them with...after they get nice and fat I might just have me some skwerl stew!!:D

Ya want fat chitterdemons just buy ya a deer feeder, or get a chicken pen. Either one will work.

Sure Fire Atractant!
The best way to draw squirrels in is to put up a couple of bird feeders and fill them up with wild bird feed (seeds).
For years I've filled up the bird feeders and the damn thieving squirrels have come along and eaten the feeders dry in about 24 hours. The birds don't get much and the squirrels get the rest. I just can't hunt them at my house anymore. We were taken in by the city and those city cops don't like it very much when you start shooting at all of the squirrels, racoons, possiums, fox, rabbit, dear, etc. etc. etc. O'well The bird feeders really do work. Hey BP..
That is what they make those pellet rifles for. Or I could give you instruction on a silencer for 22 rifles ...very easy and actually legal in a manner of speaking. :D
