My Birthday Gift.....

Ok, on 12/05 I will age one more year.

I got my birthday gift today and had to puzzle over it a bit. I was given by my extended family a Mint Condition Nickel-plated Colt Cobra 2-inch revolver with hammer shroud.

I like OLD Smith & Wesson revolvers and OLD Colt automatic pistols and this little Colt .38 Special revolver is a puzzlement. It is nice, the cylinder goes the "wrong way" and I cannot find much else not to like. So, I will incorporate this little Colt into my CCW battery.

I think I will get to like Colt revolvers, as I age gracefully.

Dan,

Yes, I like the Cobra very much already. I shot it today and it shoots where it looks. I stoke it with Factory 158 grain Lead HPSWCs and it is a serviceable CCW piece.

Yes, Gil will be a year older on 12/5, BUT he will always be older than me. LOL.

Adam, Happy Birthday

There is always room for a classic Colt in the safe. All the best...

That little colt would work well in the woods as a trail gun. I personally don't think much of a .22 LR as a self defense round though.

Happy Birthday, Adam!
And you too, Gil!

happy birthday adam. that is strange the first time you see a cylinder go the wrong way, i do believe rugers spin the opposite direction too.
