Add a Swenson for the consideration.

???? Who's Swenson

Well dear Son of mine,

I know that where gun parts are concerned you don't allways get what you pay for. That said, I have never heard of Swenson, they may be a very good company and have perfectly good parts. I hope someone else can answer that question.

In my opinion I would go with either Ed Brown or Cylinder and Slide. The Springfield should be a good choice also. I've had experience with these. I can't vouce for the others.

Talk to you later

Sir:

Armand Swenson was building race guns and improving 45's back in the 50's and 60's.

If I am not mistaken he invented the Ambidextrous Safety.
He was also into many other improvements.

He could build a 45 that was smoother than greased ball bearings on glass and functioned flawlessly.

His work was highly sought after by us folks that participated in the Southeast Asia War Games.

Next to John Moses Browning he was a father of the 45 ACP.

Best wishes, Bill
