 |
I don`t have a Savage in .22-250 and am not sure what kind of hunting you will be doing, but I do have a custom built on a 98 Mauser action with a single set trigger I would let go of if your are with in driveing distance of me. It`s not a carry gun, weights about 14 1/2 lbs. is memory serives me right. I`m about 35 mi. North of Dayton Oh.

thanks
I'm arranging to shoot a few 22-250s (I hope) in order to make my pick. Right now the Savage seems the best for my needs and budget

You won`t go wrong with a Savage. I`m a big Savage fan because I can change the barrel myself. At a gun show in Jan. I bought a Savage from a guy befor he ever took it off his shoulder and didn`t even know what cal. it was. Wouldn`t you know it was a 7mm mag., and I bought one of them in Dec. at the same gun show. If you buy the .22-250 Savage you will be able to swap out and other barrel that is chambered in a round with a a .473 head just by screwing out the old barrel and screwing in a different barrel. That would include a .243, .308, .30-06, .35 Wheelen ect.

Let me start off by saying I dont own a single savage anything.
Now let me say I agree 100% with Catfish. Savage has unbelievably good guns, and great customer support. I will own one someday. GoodOlBoy |
OK all you "garage sale finders" !!
