Well I found something out!
For years I've struggled here in wv trying to learn to hunt coyotes successfully, I just figured they were too smart for me, then I went somewhere where there is a huntable population of coyotes, I spent a few days in ky, man what a blast! I saw 7 coyotes, took 2 shots at the very largest ones that looked like the hides were good, here is the outcome

Good for you
That coyote in your right hand is a right fair sized one. Fur looks good too. Get some more. We need to thin 'em out all over the country;):D

I never had any luck calling them here in Ohio rather. Gene and I got 3 so far this year by waiting at the end of the corn fields as they run them, that`s how we get most of ours. I also go with some locals that have dogs.

Had an interesting experience Saturday. I got into my blind at about 5:30. Just down and the Yotes started. 100 yards behind me, 200 yards in front of me an to both sides. I'm sitting here in the dark with nothing but a Bow. Can't see a thing and all this howling going on. Really wasn't scared but it was interesting. No wonder I didn't see a deer until noon and one of them had a chunk taken out of it rear,
