custom holster maker?

Well, I'm a little disappointed in the current holster that I use to carry my S&W M39; it doesn't hold the pistol tightly (slides right out) and the loops are way too big.....I do like the gun, however, and would prefer to keep on carrying it. Does anyone out there know of a good holster maker who can make an IWB holster for this piece? It has been out of production for some time, so finding a factory produced holster is a chore!
Thanks in advance..........

I use it for CC.....it's an oldie, but I've had it for a long time and can hit well with it. Generic holsters, IMHO, don't do well for CC....there is always a flaw (to big & doesn't retain the gun well, slides around while on your hip, ect). While I like Bianchis, and have a couple, they haven't made a holster for this specific gun for DECADES.

Mr. 16 Gauge, You need to try El Paso Holsters. Google them. They will make you a holster that is top quality. I don't know if "Fobus" makes a holster for the Model 39, but I love their old holster for the 1911.

Try Galco. Their holsters are specific to make and model.

Milt Sparks is the best holster maker I have found hands down. Mitch Rosen also makes awesome leather.

If looking for a IWB Sparks versa Max is the most comfortable, most stable holster I have ever worn. I have several for different guns for the last 10 years and they are top notch. Wouldn't buy any other. I am just now looking to replace a sharkskin belt from them that I bought in 2000. I had lost a lot of weight and had it resized locally and am not satisfied with that job. Called Sparks and was told they would have resized it for me for $10. The rest of the belt is great and looks almost new after having been worn literally every day for the last 9.5 years.

I'm extremely impressed by the leather from el paso.

Dont forget to look at the shows most time have a tabel set up with used holsters.
Take your gun with you and see if any will work for you.
I have also had holster work done at the shoe cobler if you have one that comes close they could alter it for you.
