Load from a disk for 7mm-08?
Anyone out there using Load from a Disk when developing new handloads? Software looks interesting, but does anyone know what powders the program recommends for 120 grain or 140 grain ballistic tips out of a 7mm-08? I have an ample stock of varget, win760 and re15 on hand, and I don't want to invest in the software if none of these powders are listed...
any help would be much appreciated. -- steve |
I just ran it on my copy. It shows 14 powders suitable for those bullets, with all yours included.
I have an slightly older version of LFD around here somewhere. PM me your address and I'll send it to you. |
Rocky,
PM sent, and your help is much appreciated. By the way, is there a problem with your "Reloading Room" webpage? I haven't been able to access any of your info lately. -- steve |
The "problem" is with Internet Explorer, if that is what you are using for a browser. EVERY other browser I tested displays my pages perfectly.
I highly recommend you switch to Firefox. It is faster, better, MUCH more secure - and free. |
Rocky is absolutely correct! I had the problem for months until I installed Firefox on my PC. Now I can access the Reloading Room website. Still can't do it with Windows IE.

The irony is that I used a Microsoft program to design the flipping website, and it's a Microsoft browser that refuses to read it! GRRrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Thanks for the heads up on Firefox! Downloaded and it is far superior to Internet Explore. jplonghunter |
Rocky, thanks for the copy of LFAD. I played around with it for a while, and also downloaded the free 30 cal. version online. I may spring for the new version, as it gives quite a bit more info about the specific powders.
Thanks also for the tip on Firefox. I can finally access the Reloading Room pages again... -- Steve |
You are most welcome for both.
