Tick control
 

Another tick season is upon us in this part of the world. Last year I used K9advantix on my young lab. It did kill ticks, but only after they were embedded in her. It this common for this product. Frontline plus looks to be a good product. For you folks that have to deal with tick control, what are your thoughts on these products? Any other suggestions on how to control ticks. Thanks for your info.:)

I don't have dogs but my oldest daughter is a Vet tech. She highly recommends Front Line.

Bad reports on the stuff in the tube that you pour down the center of the back.

the logic behind products that force the dog to BE BITTEN before they do anything to control the pests.

thats the exact thing I want to PREVENT
