Redfield rebate!
If you have an old Denver made Redfield, call the fine folk in Beaverton OR, at 1-877-798-9686.
I called about one of my broken 'to be fixed' Trackers. They said if I mailed it in with the account number they issued me, they would sell me the new Revolution 2-7x 33 for $109.99, and would cover the shipping cost to me. The guy even was very sure to inform me about Mike Sextons operation in Tulsa, at Iron Sights. Just to be sure I knew that I could get it repaired if I wished to do it that way. Sounds like a good deal all around to me. |
I'm in the market for a 3/9x40 for my 280 remmy. I'm considering a Bushnell 3200 or 4200 or a Nikon Buckmaster. My concern with the Redfield is the quality. I have read some good and some bad. By turning in my widefield in can get a new one for $125. That is fine but if the quality suck I ain't interested. Anybody own or have experience with these?

The new Redfields made in Beaverton are getting some good revues. 109$ or 129$ sounds like a steal to me- I'm wishing I had an old Redfield to send in. :)

My son had to have one of the Oregon made Redfields as soon as they were available. He had been planning a new scope with a "gold ring" on a custom Remington 600 in .222 Rem. but got a new Redfield to try and is very happy with it. He has made a lot of p-dogs unhappy with the choice. He usually says if his rifle scope doesn't have a gold ring, the scope needs replacing.
