Why this design?

Can anyone tell me why this bullet is designed the way it is, i.e. what benefit does it give you folks who do cowboy action shooting?

I see other companies offering something similar.....I was just wondering....it doesn't seem to be fish or fowl.

Thanks in advance...........

the round nose flat point design is accurate, it has more than enough energy transfer to ring steel (or take down a deer), the flat point doesn't cause issues with tubular magazines, and the wide lube bands give you more than enough space for lube to keep from leading a barrel, and the deep crimp groove keeps you from jumping crimp with heavy loads.
