Yesterday
 

Well it was a good day huntin . Went with a couple of friends antelope hunting.We were hunting on a ranch near Meteetsee. The place is over run with antelope as it hasn't been hunted in over 10 yrs. The buck to doe ratio is reaaly out of balance with too mant bucks We were scouting it the other day and OY!!! We saw a group of 4 with 3 that were tremendous of course we didn't see 'em yesterday but we did bag 2 very nice 15 inchers and I forgot the camera....DUH!! but some even better news Saw one nice band of elk with one nice bull that was tremendous...I don't have a bull tag for the area but do have a cow..going back next week to try for one. Yippee

That Elk backstrap can be very bad for ya. Send it on down packed in dry ice. We will examine it on the grill and let you know if it was OK. Ed's free testing lab :D

Elk Backstrap...in Florida. I don't think I can do that. It must be a felony to send any part of an elk to Florida! Man..I can see it now. in the Miami Herald(or whatever).Ed's testing labs owner arrested for illegal possessionj of an elk part. He was arrested while attempting to eat the evidence. Going up on Monday Cooling off at nights. Warm in the daytime. Elks are bugling..in some places. Where the wolfies are they stay very quiet
