Anyone been out yet?
 

....any success stories? I didn't make it out for the regular firearms season, and I will only have two days mid season to hunt. Looking a little bleak right now, as the deer kill in the area I hunt is way down! Still, weather permitting, I will give it a try.

good luck what area of the state are you hunting.
It has been a couple years for me and the smoke pole.

State land in S.E. Michigan.....me and 250,000 other hunters!:rolleyes: Hopefully there will still be some deer around, but the DNR says the kill is way down in the area from the past few years.
We'll see...............
