I got a Bersa .380
I picked up a Bersa Thunder .380 (7 round) the matte silver model.
I paid $150 for it...............did I make a mistake? I never heard of Bersa before, but the 1911 is a bit too big to carry in the summer as C&C and be conspicuous, and the .380 ammo is a bit cheaper, and it was a rare time I had $150 to spend. |
I think you did ok. 380 is a good round for concealed carry in the summer. Shoot the Bersa for a while. It'll probably get fairly smooth. I had one in the past and somone talked me out of it. I even have a Beretta 32 Tilt bbl I keep handy in the summer. Hey it's better than throwin rocks and it is fairly accurate. Shoot the Bersa a bit. You will probably like it

Think you did fine if in great shape. Had one years ago and it was a very reliable handgun. So long ago I don't remember what I traded it for. Now still have a couple of .380s, Ruger LCP and an AMT Backup. With all the new ammo available I feel ok carrying it when size makes a difference.

I've never owned one, but I have heard good things about them from several sources. Around here, they are running about $250 new at the chain sporting goods stores, so I'm thinking you probably got a decent deal.
Only .380 I own is a Walther PPk/S.....trigger pull is horrendous, but the gun is accurate as heck and feeds just about every hollow point I've put in it without a hiccup! |
Fired it yesterday, it's a nifty little gun. I shot seven straight mags (w/ 7 rds per) no hiccups, smooth feeds, surprisingly nice trigger.
I will feel very confident with it as a summer C&C. |

Sounds like you have a keeper in the Bersa. Take care...
