Opening Shot (archery)
 

Son-in-law, daughter, andd two friends went out on the 17th and set up camp. Went hunting on the 18th and daughter got a large 3 point bull with the crossbow. She has always loved to hunt and be in the mountains backpacking. I guess it is a good thing I taught her to hunt. She wanted this elk for her sons to have for food at college. They should eat well.

Elk or no Elk a few days in nature with your kid or kids is the best.

if you get to post pics that would be great i like to see family hunts

wrenchman, Sorry, no pictures. I wasn't at the camp;only went to the area to bring in the meat for processing. It is still too hot and the meat would spoil if left in their camp.
