why not buy yourself a used s-10 blazer or a s-10 4x 4 if you go chevy
My personal opinion, is that you cannot go wrong with a v6 BroncoII.
They are short, got plenty of pep. Many many have lasted well into the mid to upper 100,000 mile range and are still going, they turn on a dime and have pretty good 4x4 mechanisms in them. The 4WD system in my Bronco II gets better traction than my wifes 4 Runner
