I favor ladder stands. Where I hunt, the stands stay up until the season ends. We take them all down, refurbish them, and a month or so before the next season, they go back in the woods. I do not like climbers myself, but I know many guys that use them.
I do most of my hunting on the ground though, stalking or still hunting.
