I carry two. The first, a double A mini-mag with red filter, just for when walking to & from the stand in the dark.
For a small pocket size light that puts a whole lot of daylight out there, that Surefire Z2 is hard to beat. It will light up the woods as if you had a 500,00 candlepower spotlight, but fits in your pocket. If you want a switch for a Surefire, they make them which replace the screw on endcaps too.
